i wouldn't call the new cobra A "GIRLIE CAR". It has forged piston, a steel crank and lots of other goodies you can't get on an ls1 (is putting a blower on a 10-1 motor with hyperpop pistons really a good idea?), not to mention the fact that it is faster fromt the start. Yes 03 cobras have been recalled. I wish my car had been reacalled for the same reason, the exhaust system was so restrictive that the cats were burning out. This is why people have gained almost an extra 40 horse at the wheels with simply unbolting the exhaust and airbox. Already thier are many 03 cobras putting out close to 500 at the wheels, with pully, exhaust, throttlebody, and getting rid of the pesky airbox. I think that is still cheaper then buying a blower and intercooler for an Ls1. Ls1s are great motors but the mod motors have a ton of potental and should not be sold short.
