The Abyss of One's Mind
High above the busy din of the city streets below, Jaison stands, looking out of a wide window. All the lights have been turned out, but light or no, he could see his way around the room anyway. He hated having to go back to his family for access to his own bank accounts and other accounts, but in the grand scheme of things, it wasn't as bad as his past. Here he was alone. Here he was safe... lost in the abyss of his own mind.
