even though you didn't ask my opinion. I will give it anyway.

Your "Grav Distortions" will have no effect on the ability to generate a subspace field around the ship to allow for warp travel. If they did, then it would effect every trek Ships shielding and power output systems besides the fusion generators. Along with every short range fighters including TIE's and the like Rebellion like.

Warsies. Start quoting the Generations Scenes where capt. J Hariman (a puney Trekling striaght out of the Academy aka Farris Beuler) says the Grav distortions will tear the ship apart. He's right to a point but that would only occured when the shields went down for transport. (remember the shields form a subspace bubble around the ship) Which cooincedently didn't happen when Scotty transported them aboard. When the sheilds where dropped is when they had ship problems. Also remember them saying "Try to generate a subspace field around the ships. That might break the ribbons hold." what was the ensigns reply? not 'Gravimetric Distortions' BUT "There's to much Quantum interference Captian!" he said nothing about the gravitiy distortions occurring near the ships. Plus (I know this is a long shot in the dark but) Star Trek IV. The bird of prey clearly jumps to warp in the atmosphere (this is as canon as you can get) which proves that Warp drives do work in @ least a 1g gravity well, and if you generate to much gravity, then stuff will start floating towards you including your own weapons and smaller stunt fighters disrupting the entire battle.

I think I have enough proof to say that an ISD with an interdiction field in place couldn't stop a TrekShip from entering warp.
