In my book I would consider the Super Star Destroyer to be a giant mobile station just like the Death Star because of it's size and sheer mass, and a Treklings ship can easily out run a SSD because the acceleration of the treklings ships is considerable greater then that of the SSD. You can count those little bow TIEs if you want, but without shielding a spread of high yield Photon Torpedo detentated in the squadron's path could wipe them out. And any of the smaller ships with the shielded ships like the Missle Boats and the Lambda Class Shuttles could easily be wiped away with ships phasers. If the missile boats get any torps launched, the Trek Ship's automated target tracking system could destroy them before they reached the ship.
