I think that when people place the US on a pedistal of imorality it is because the USA lets these people become disgustingly wealthy. Why should we pay actors and atheletes so much when honest hard working people in other countries get pennies in comparison. If someone can make a slam dunk from the free-throw line, they are no more deserving of two million dollars than someone who must grow their own food to survive.
so just because Actor X gives Y amount of dollars to charity Z, the injustice is still prevalent. Farmer A from third-world-country B, still does not understand why that american gets millions for making a fool of himself.
