] Date Posted: 12:37:37 08/06/02 Tue Things are looking a little dead in the water for ^IoN^. Practice attendance has sunk to new lows (2 ppl) when not long ago we were up to 6. Understandably, summer is coming to an end and Tribes becomes even less of a priority for many. Ion was created to serve duel purpose: compete, and help those wishing to learn the game, the payback being that they join Ion. With summer almost out, unless there is some miraculous turn around, IoN clearly can't accomplish the goal of competition. However I do believe that the second goal is not only attainable, but easily so, with great potential for success. Tribes is old, no longer supported (really) by Dynamix, and it is a stark environment for newbs. That's a role that can be filled by us. Feel free to throw in your two cents. Date Posted: 17:20:53 08/07/02 Wed The summer is ending I have a job and school but i WILL stay with ^IoN^(unless it dies) wich will not happin cuz if it dose im shere some one will pick it back up-->(luckly Al) but we need to start show up for pracits. Im there for almost all of them and i have barly any time for myself. ;( So dout worrie im hear for another 5 month then im joining the USMC. and i know it will sux with out me :/ but i dout thing most of u will still be playing tribes 5 mouth from now. I would`int be suprised if 10 people played tribes total. Im sorry to say this be tribes is dieing faster and faster, just last weekend there was 5 severs with people in em.
