He ask his students "Tell me is this Jar full or empty?" The students replied "Full". The proffesor then took some smaller stones and poured them into the Jar. The small stones fulled the gaps between the Big rocks. He asked his students again "Tell me now is the Jar full?" The students replied "Aww its Full now". The proffesor then got some sand and poured it into the same Jar. The sand filled the gaps between the Big rocks and the smaller stones. He asked his students again "Now is the Jar full?" The students replied "Yes now it is definatly Full". The proffesor then said to the children "This Jar is your Life" The students amazed at his concept asked for an explanation. The proffesor replied: This Jar is your life. Within your life you have the Big Rocks. These Big Rocks represent 'Yourself - Family - Friends -Spirit' The major aspects of your life. The smaller stones Represent 'Home - Work -Education etc' The things that surrouned your Bigger aspects of 'You'. The sand represents the smaller and simpler things in life. If this Jar was empty and you were to full the Jar first with Sand or smaller stones what would happen?? It wouldnt allow you any space for the Bigger things in life such as Family - Yourself - Friends because the jar would already be to full to add such things in.
