Some of the interviews are very ESTUPIDO!
SO Miss World emphasizes the importance of interview. Quite tactless if the interviewer is Jerry Springer
He asks the contestants quite mundane questions that should have produced intelligent answers (as all u people claim that ALL your winners are intelligent, blah, blah, charitable, this and that)
To Miss Turkey: "So what do you eat for Thanksgiving?"
Last year, the finalists were soooo redundant for their undying admiration for Nelson Mandela.
Also I must say, Miss China and Miss Yugoslavia didn't understand their questions at all. I understand why MU doesn't do on-stage interviews anymore. It's so "duddy!" And the ladies all come out ditsy. It's quite embaressing.
Also, your Miss World 2000 made the flub of them all: when asked who she admired that was ALIVE, she answered: Mother Teresa!
My goodness, it was 2000 and Mother Teresa was NOT ALIVE. She had died in 1997.
Her fellow Indian compatriots and dozens of Delhi newspapers agreed that she was quite STUPID!
