I don't think knowing the person matters, I trusted each one to guide me there and bring me back safely. They each had their individual style, one guided you back then you spoke about the experience, while the other allowed you to talk while you experience everything. The first was also a medium/channeler/pscyhic, while the other was more a pscycholgist/counselor type. The second allowed us to direct where we wanted to go, via questions, the first took us where we needed to go to deal with problems.
In all of my regressions, I never had a fix time period. Which is interesting because I have no concept of time now, even though I'm getting better,nor have I ever really cared about time. I would definately do it again, if I knew someone that I trusted.
