Interesting observations Appy. Consider this:
when I was a follower of Jesus, I was a member of a radical fringe of the Jewish community, not in an organized religion.
Later I was indifferent. I had fought in a religious war under the sanction of organized religion and saw my brother die. When I had the "vision" several days before the actual regression, I had a strong feeling that I had cursed the Pope who was responsible for encouraging the Crusade and who did it in part to strengthen the Papacy (if I have the right Pope). Indifference to organized religion did not mean that I was not a believer in something.
Now I have choices, the opportunity to find my own way. I am not estranged from the Unity Church which is "organized" but tolerant and encourages individual searches in spiritual development. I chose Unity because I really want a sense of community with people who accept different paths and who do their best to reflect unconditional love.
