I have had many people try unsuccessfully to scam me, but the one who got me was an American firm who goes by the name of MyWiredPlastic.com They got me to sign up for a debit card using my social security electronic deposit to open the account. The first month went just fine, the second month, they would only let me have $600.00 of it at $300.00 increments. The third month they would not allow me access to any of my funds, stating I hadn't used it for more than 45 days. I got that cleared up after a long and expensive phone call to them. This month, they froze my account again for the same reason. Now they say I spent all of my money on the internet and tell me a list of amounts paid and state they received proper authorization from me which just isn't true. A little bit late, but they won't get anymore from me as I have transferred my deposits to a legitimate local bank since then. I also turned them into the FCC and have been assured the FCC will try to get my money back.
I also found a website listed in the search engine just under MyWiredPlastic.com recently which describes their company and it's practice of bleeding and freezing accounts. I wish I'd seen it sooner!
