A weathered wooden sign with the image of a rust-hued fish upon it swings listlessly above the door of the tavern, a quite popular place due to the number of sailors in the town. The Rusty Mackerel serves delicious food and drinks. The tavern’s owner, Gesshin, is a large man, who often finds himself breaking up the usual barroom brawl between the drunken customers. There are several barmaids, although one of them, Medea, is more ‘popular’ than the others.
