She nearly froze. She really wasn't up to putting on appearances - she'd been treading quietly - it was usually easy - Luc and his father usually left the house and went about their work at the same time, so she just kept herself occupied with other things, and was mostly absorbed in Luc when he was home. She set her cider down, and offered her best at a smile. "Hunger's about the only thing that makes me do that."
