Hey, thanks for your input! We didn't "miss" Lawrenceburg, we just haven't gotten around to covering it in detail yet. In the words of Opportunistic Infection, "I only got two hands, big guy".

We're looking forward to getting more good stuff from the Lawrenceburg area on here soon. Feel free to contribute some pics if you have a digital camera!

As for the distillery in Burgin, actually, distilleries often are permitted to operate in dry counties - Jack Daniel's comes to mind.

But what I really want to know is why there are two communities called "Stringtown" within fifteen minutes of each other.
