Its funny how the rumors start, townbranch is a sewer line that runs to the town branch wastewater treatment plant that sits on lisle rd (now called lisle industrail ave)
Its true that the large line runs under vine street and past rupp arena. Dont confuse the creek that you see with the sewer line, they are not tied together.
there are several underground caves in lexington and the LFUCG would like nothing better than to bury the information.
as for the rock quarry on forbs rd, it is deep and wide, they have dug way past their limits and the LFUCG has allowed this to happen. If you do not beleave me then you can come to my house everyday from 4-6 pm and watch my windows shake, The blast are so intense that to this day i jump everytime they set off a charge (NO KIDDING)the man that lives behind me who has a concrete foundation, he has stuff fall off of the shelvs as his house. as for the secret tunnels, well they are not secret, they are just forgotten ;)
