Subject: Mothman In Kentucky...

I found this report at www.mothmanlives.com. It caught my eye... (Note: I have done my best to correct some small spelling and punctuation errors. Grammar was skipped to preserve this tale/sighting as I have found it.)

"'Birdman' as those in Ashland, KY called him...
It was in '67 and I was around 15 or 16. We lived out in the country and I remember hearing what sounded like a woman screaming on the hill in front of our house. We used to sit in our bedroom window and listen to it.
At the same time, our neighbors were finding their animals killed. They were found hanging from tree limbs, tore down the middle and their insides gone. Also, our mother said that she woke-up one night and saw something coming up the stairs...she said it was black and had red glowing eyes. She screamed and woke my dad, but it went back down the stairs and was never seen again. She was scared for a long time and made all of us sleep in her room in case it came back. I have had some strange things happen to me over the years. I'm not saying that what happened had anything to do with UFO's, I'm only telling you what happened.
When I was around 21or 22, I woke up one night and couldn't move...I could hear what sounded like people talking but I couldn't understand what they were saying..it was like they were talking low not in another language, though they might have been. I could also hear a sound like you would hear if someone was rattling silverware around in a drawer. I kept thinking if I could only move one finger, I would be able to make the rest of my body move. After awhile, I could move. I know I was not asleep at the time. Another time I was sun bathing in my back yard. I started to turn over when I saw a blimp shaped thing in the sky over top of the trees. I remember think it must be a blimp, the next thing I remember, I was in the house making tea...It wasn't until the next day that I remembered seeing it...what happened between the time I saw it and the time I was making tea, I don't know. One morning I woke up and discovered blood on my pillow.
I look in the mirror thinking I had a nose bleed during the night, but there was no blood on me anywhere.
Another time I found a circle of dead grass in my yard. I showed it to several people because I knew they wouldn't believe me if I told them about it.. There might be an explanation for all these things, but I don't know what it would be..."
