Cheeseburger And Fries are the guys you're thinking of. They also perform under the name "The Kentuckians". They are Jeffrey Scott Holland (Cheeseburger) and Todd Dockery (Fries), both of whom are mentioned on our "Curse of Third and Broadway" page in the "Mysteries" section. They still play on streets all around the central Kentucky area, as far as I know. They had a webpage but I just checked it and it was gone.
