Subject: what about woodland grocery, sir?

what about the now defunct woodland grocery, formerly owned by don pratt in lexington. closed in 1998, opened in 1972-ish. originally located on woodland and high (where ramsey's is now), relocated to walton ave. pratt, being the currently semiretired political draftdodging lexington liberal activist (and sleeping on my floor tonight as he visits his daughter my girliefriendy), bought the store after returning from a 20month stay in federal prison for publicly admitting the burning of his draftcard. inspired a group of follks called the "woodland club" who were devoted regulars and owned tshirts advertising rc & moon pies pratt sold. a true independent business chased down by convenience store chains. picures can be provided if wanted. nowe there stands an interior decorating place.
