Suzy, You are the parent and make the decisions, but do not deceive her or you will lose trust.Simply state what will take place just beforehand to avoid a battle and a lot of worrying for her. Assure her that it will be easier to care for and look updated like "fill in the blank". (Many celebrities have recently gotten pixie haircuts.) Tell her that you have decided and it is not up for discussion. She may not be happy about it, but that's life and this will be a lesson in adjustment and accepting change, which everyone needs to learn. Don't cave in and spoil your daughter. She might even end up liking the hairstyle. In our household, the same haircut guidelines apply to boys and girls: off the neck, off the ears, and off the face. At that point it becomes flexible. This keeps life simpler and the bathroom cleaner. Our kids accept this like any other rule. Be firm, try to make it fun and good luck! >Help!!!!!!! anyone
>I have an 11 year old daughter and she has waist
>length black hair i have talked to her about cutting
>it to a short bob or something short but she would not
>agree should i just force her or how can i explain.
>Would love a reply...........
