MD EXPRESS GIRLS FASTPITCH FALL SOFTBALL
Season will run from September 11th
Thru October 30th
ENTRY FEE AND FORM DEADLINE-SATURDAY AUGUST 27TH 2005
This year the MD Express Softball Team will host a fall league again. This will be a great way to get ready for the spring season. We have always had a great time and the girls have met some new girls and became great friends.

EXPRESS SOFTBALL PROVIDES
Game Balls-(Except 8U teams, they will provide 0ne ball -each team, each game).
Umpires-(Except 8U teams, they will provide one umpire for home plate (home team) and one bases (visiting). This will be a parent as was provided in regular season Recreation play).
- Maximum amount of games you can play is 16
- Fee - $20.00 PER GAME-THERE WILL BE NO CHARGE FOR 8U
- Choose the amount of games you want to play (will try to accommodate)
- Submit with your form the number of games you want to play.
- One umpire per session.
- Teams will alternate as home and visitor.
- Continuous batting order with free substitution.
- Sessions will be 9/11, 9/18, 9/25,10/2,10/16, 10/23 & 10/30.
Please complete and return the registration form as soon as possible.
EXPRESS WILL PROVIDE:
GAME BALLS-(EXCEPT FOR 8U THEY WILL PROVIDE BALLS FOR THEIR GAMES)
UMPIRES-(8U WILL HAVE PARENT VOLUNTEER AS REGULAR REC LEAGUE PLAY)
TEAMS WILL PROVIDE THEIR OWN UNIFORMS AND EQUIPMENT. PLAYERS MUST WEAR SHIRTS WITH NUMBERS. NO METAL CLEATS WILL BE ALLOWED. FAILURE TO APPEAR FOR YOUR GAME WILL STILL REQUIRE YOUR GAME PAYMENT. TEAMS MUST CALL AT LEAST 24 HRS BEFORE GAME TO CANCEL TO RECEIVE REFUND FOR THOSE GAMES.
o SEASON STARTS SEPTEMBER 11TH
o SEASON ENDS OCTOBER 30TH
o NO STANDINGS WILL BE KEPT.
o 5 RUN LIMIT PER INNING…EXCEPTION LAST INNING (UNLIMITED)
o PITCHERS LIMITED TO 3 INNINGS PER GAME.
o NO MAKE UPS FOR RAIN OUTS.
o GAMES WILL BE PLAYED AT URBANA PARK & ARABY FIELD
o ENTIRE BENCH BATS… UNLIMITED SUBS
o ASA RULES WILL BE USED
o ASA, NSA, OR COMPARABLE LIABILITY INSURANCE REQUIRED FOR EACH TEAM. IF TEAMS COMBINE, TEAM HAS TO GO BY ONE NAME SO LEAGUE INSURANCE (THIS PERTAINS TO FCGSL ONLY) WILL COVER TEAM. (EXAM-URBANA & BRUNSWICK=TEAM BRUNSWICK OR TEAM URBANA NOT BRUNSWICK/URBANA. THIS IS JUST AS IF YOU WERE TO GO TO A C DIVISION TOURNAMENT YOU WOULD HAVE TO SUPPLY A COPY OF ONE INSURANCE AT EACH TOURAMENT. ALL OTHER TEAMS WILL HAVE TO PROVIDE A COPY OF COVERAGE. FROM THEIR ORGANIZATION.
o EACH GAME WILL BE 1HR. 10 MINUTES WTH 10 MINUTE BREAK BETWEEN
AGE GROUPS WILL BE AS FOLLOWS: BIRTHDATE AS OF JANUARY 1, 2005 (SAME AGE USED DURING SPRING SEASON) :
WE WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO TAKE A LIMITED AMOUNT OF TEAMS SO WE NEED TO KNOW EARLY IF YOU ARE INTERESTED-
GAMES WILL BE ON SUNDAYS AND TIMES WILL BE
WE CAN’T GUARANTEE A TIME FOR GAMES BUT WILL TRY AND ACCOMADOTE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE., GIVING PREFERENCE TO FIRST REGISTRATIONS.
