The league consist of playing a doubleheader each Sunday for 5 or 6 weeks. Games are timed and there is a 10 minute break
between the games.

No practices are held.

The season begins about the second weekend in September and runs through the end of October.

All games are played at Fairland Regional Park (14U, 16U, 18U) or a park local to Sykesville, MD (10, 12U).

The league allows a continuous batting order and free substitutions.

Cost of participation is $30 and that includes a uniform Tee-Shirt.

Registration will be on a first come basis with priority given to existing STARS players and then players desiring to play for the
STARS during the 2004 season and then others.

Players ages 9 through 18 are eligible. Players may be asked to demonstrate their skills prior to acceptance of their registration.

The Maryland STARS Girls Fastpitch Softball Tournament Team Program provides a top level of play for girls interested in competing at the highest
level and willing to work to achieve their goals. The STARS provide top coaching (all head coaches attend regular coaches clinics), excellent failities
and equipment, compete in national tournaments, are well-known throughout the region, host clinics with experts in their field as intructors, host
competitive tournaments, and provide a place for players to grow (we have 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, and 18U teams for the last 7 years).
