...slowly gazing 'round the forest. Her mind swam rapidly in a sea of thought...memories was more like it. This place seemed...familiar to her, somehow. Yet, Asahi had never visited before. The setting was the same...a forest...crickets chirping in the distance...a cool breeze brushing past slowly...the full moon rising to her zenith in the star-scattered sky. Asahi shuddered, attempting to shrug it off; she'd rather not even think what had happened. If only it was that easy...but the painful memories stuck to her, as they would forever, as they had, for a seemingly endless amount of eternities. Asahi didn't like to dwell on the past, though she often found herself doing it. She sighed, laying down, hoping sleep would overcome her, but none did. Sitting up, the lupine gazed around for someone to speak with, but...they were the only ones she saw. Her mismatched eyess grew wide in fear as she shrank down against the ground, yet their empty, soulless orbs stared into hers. Asahi flinched, blinking, but the apparitions didn't go away. She backed away, fear blurring her other senses. Asahi seemed oblivious to the outside world, trapped in the twisted world of her own. They crept closer, smirks alighting their faces. Of course, this was all the work of Asahi's mind; those "spectres" were not real, just visible to her. The pure queen turns around quickly, dashing off blindly. She trips over a tree's root amidst her panic, and keeps running. Asahi ends up crashing into a thick oak tree, and collapses, unconscious.
((Ooh...flashback...><;))
