Once there was a old military veteran. every friday night he would come down o the beach with a pail full of shrimps, the shrimps are not for him,nor are they for the fish,strangely they are for the seagulls.Every friday night
he would toss the shrimp to the seagulls and say thank you this is because Edd as the town called him was once saved by these birds when his plane was shot down by enemy anti aircraft. For three days aboard their lifecraft he and his crew were fighting the sea,sharks,and most of all hunger. On the fourth day when their ration was almost gone, a seagulllanded on his hat. The gull meant food if he could catch it and he did,they were able to survive until they were rescued.
