HELLO SIR! I HAVE TO TELL YOU THAT WESTLIFE IS DEFINITELY MY IDOL.. MAYBE IT DOESN'T EVEN MATTER IF YOU DREAM RIGHT? SO I WANNA TELL YOU THIS DREAM STORY OF MINE..............
THIS STORY IS A BIT LONG BUT I DO HOPE YOU'D FINISH READING IT BECAUSE IT'S A VERY NICE LOVE STORY....:)

Nicky- my westlife idol

Gretchen Uy- My best friend (ehs 1-6)

WALK AWAY
Margarette and Nicky had been friends their whole lives, they met on their first day of school and they instantly clicked. Even though, everyone thought they were boyfriend and girlfriend, they knew differently. They were just friends. They shared the laughter and the tears and were always there for each other, through thick and thin, through heartaches and boyfriends and girlfriends and to wipe away each other's tears.

It was the first day of secondary school and, of course, Margarette and Nicky went to the same high school. They were put in the same class, that was a special request made by them and their parents. They walked in and everyone stared and they didn't know why, Nicky grabbed Margarette 's hand and led her to a desk at the back, which is where they always sat. Everyone just stared at them and they just sat down and started comparing their timetables and they started talking and all the class listened to their conversation "So.. Nicky said ".. If we get a lot of homework, will you come over to ours tonight and help me with it?" "Course I will" replied Margarette , cheerfully. They both turned and looked at the class and the entire class was just staring at them with blank faces and Margarette and Nicky looked at each other with bewildered expressions. "Hi" said Margarette and the class just smiled and Margarette smiled back and looked at Nicky and he said hi too. "Are you boyfriend and girlfriend?" somebody shouted from the front of the class and Nicky replied "No, we're best friends!" and the class looked at Nicky as if he was making it up and somebody chirped in "Then how come you were holding hands when you walked in?" and Margarette giggled and replied "Coz I was really nervous and Nicky just wanted to show that he was there for me" and they just smiled and turned back to their conversations with the person next to them or in front of them. They smiled at each other and carried on talking. They knew that every one would assume that they were boyfriend and girlfriend and they would have to set them straight all day but even so, they still couldn't wait for their first day.
Nicky and Margarette had lockers right next to each other and they got to be well known around the school, they were popular. Margarette was putting her stuff in her locker and she asked Nicky what lesson they had next and she didn't get a response, she closed her locker door and Nicky was staring at the other block of lockers. Margarette looked to see what he was looking at, and she saw a girl with brown hair and deep brown eyes and she was laughing with her friends. Margarette smiled and said teasingly "Got a little crush already?" and he turned and said "Yeah, I think so" and they turned and they started walking to class but not without Nicky turning back a few times to see her. Margarette just smiled but inside she felt, like a stabbing pain. This was the first time she had ever felt it when Nicky fancied somebody, she didn't know what was wrong, so she hid it and just smiled.
The day passed by and this girl infatuated Nicky and that stabbing pain Margarette had inside, got more painful. They sat down for lunch and usually Nicky can talk to Margarette about anything but Margarette didn't want to talk about this girl, but Nicky did. "I wonder what her name is? I hope she's single! She has gorgeous hair, hasn't she?" Nicky babbled on and Margarette just smiled uncomfortably and ate her lunch, Nicky noticed she was uncomfortably and asked her "Are you ok, Marge ?" He always called her ' Marge ' when he was worried about her. "Yeah, I'm fine!" replied Margarette , trying to sound cheerful. Nicky smiled but he knew something was wrong with Margarette and why she wouldn't talk to him. Whatever was wrong, it must be serious! Thought Nicky.
They did get a lot of homework and some of it was tough, Margarette and Nicky couldn't believe they got so much on the first day. So they did as they had planned, Margarette went round to Nicky's that night and she said hello to Nicky's mum and they went up to Nicky's bedroom. They sat down and Nicky said, "Right, what shall we do first?" and Margarette replied, "The really hard stuff and then the easy stuff we can do at home, by ourselves!" Nicky nodded and picked up a book and said, "Let's go!" and they started. When they finished the hard stuff, Nicky just started staring out the window and Margarette said, "The answers aren't out there!" Nicky smiled and sighed "Georgina.." and Margarette sat there with a puzzled face "Who the hell is that?" and he said "The girl I was staring at, I found out her name!" and Margarette 's face dropped and she said flatly "Congrats" and started gathering her books up, Nicky said "Are you going? I might need more help!" Margarette opened the door and turned to Nicky and said "Why don't you call Georgina and have her help you !" and she stormed out. Nicky knew what was wrong with Margarette now. She didn't have a potential boyfriend or fancied anyone. I'll soon remedy that! Planned Nicky.
The next day, one of the guys in Margarette 's class walked up to her and said "Hi Margarette ! Would you like to go to the movies this Saturday?" and Margarette didn't feel like hanging with any guys right now. So, she tried to let him down as gently as she could "I'm sorry Lee, I'm busy this weekend!" and he said ok and walked away. That happened all day, guys asking Margarette out and everytime they came over Nicky would be smirking behind her. She turned around after like the millionth offer and said "What are you smirking at?" and he said "You, you're turning down some great guys!" and she simply said "I'm busy!" and walked away. Nicky ran after her and grabbed her hand and said "I know for a fact you have no plans this weekend!" and Margarette said "I'm just not in the mood for dating at the moment!" and Nicky went to say something else but then Georgina walked past and he just stared and Margarette pulled her arm away and stormed off. Margarette sat on her own for lunch and she was looking down at her lunch and then she saw another tray opposite and she looked up and she saw Nicky looking really upset. "Can I sit down?" he asked "Yeah sure.." replied Margarette ".. I was just getting up" and she took her tray and put it on top of the bin and walked out. Nicky stood up and followed her, he ran behind her and pushed her into an empty classroom. " Margarette , we've been friends our whole lives, we've always been able to talk, please, just talk to me!" Nicky pleaded. Margarette sighed, she didn't want to tell him the truth because she wasn't sure herself. "Nix, I promise you, there's nothing wrong. You're my best friend, don't you think I would have told you if something was wrong!" Nicky gave her a hug and a kiss and they went back to lunch. They spent the whole day together, like old times and Margarette loved it and Nicky didn't talk about Georgina. That was the way it was supposed to be.
Gretchen Uy was Margarette 's best mate and she lived in Sligo. Margarette had been keeping her up to date with her, Nicky and Georgina. Gretchen Uy had been keeping Margarette up to date on life in Sligo, so far Gretchen Uy had started secondary school and she had fell for a lad called Shane and she was plucking up the courage to ask him out. Margarette was talking to Gretchen Uy over the phone one night and she was telling Gretchen Uy about the stabbing pain she had when Nicky first clapped eyes on Georgina and when he talked about her, she had the same feeling. " Margarette ?" said Gretchen Uy "What?" replied Margarette "Don't get mad at me.." started Gretchen Uy ".. But I think you might have feelings for Nicky" There was silence and then "No, I have friendly feelings for Nicky. I mean yeah, they're loving feelings because he's my friend. I mean, do I have loving feelings for Nicky? Yeah!! But that doesn't mean I'm in love with him, I mean, that doesn't mean I love him because I do love him!" Margarette gasped and said "I gotta go" and put down the phone. It was all clear to Margarette now, she didn't want to go out with any other guys, she had that stabbing feeling and why? Because she was in love with Nicky. She never saw this coming. "Oh, my god" Margarette whispered to herself "I'm in love. With Nicky."
The next day at school, she wasn't as close to Nicky as she usually was because she was scared in case she said anything to him. She avoided him all day and he finally caught up with her at lunch. "Hey Margarette , I haven't seen you all day, where you been?" Margarette swallowed the chip she had in her mouth and said "Oh, just around" and carried on eating her lunch. Nicky started going on about Georgina and Margarette blocked him out and got out her school planner and started to see what lesson she had next and if she had any homework. " Margarette ? Margarette !" Nicky shook her arm "Hm? What?" Margarette replied, dazed "What do you think?" asked Nicky, eagerly "I think that you should just ask that girl out because you are doing my head in talking about her!" and Margarette grabbed her books and left. Nicky went round to Margarette 's house that night to get help with her homework. He walked into her room and she was wearing a pair of jeans and Nicky's jumper that he had given her when she was cold about 6 months ago. Nicky chuckled "You still have that?" and Margarette jumped "Nicky, you scared me!" and he laughed and they started their homework.. "I've got brilliant news!" and Margarette looked at him, curiously and he said "I asked Georgina out and she said yes!!" and Margarette just said "Oh" and carried on with her homework. Nicky carried on "Are you going to Lee's party on Saturday?" and Margarette nodded her head and he said "Cool, that's where our first date's going to be?" and Margarette said sarcastically, "Whoop-de-do" and Nicky took that as a sign to shut up. Gretchen Uy was going to that party to, so Margarette would have to introduce Gretchen Uy to her class. Margarette needed Gretchen Uy there because she would need support from her while she was watching Nicky and Georgina on their first date.
The night of the party came and Gretchen Uy was going to come to Margarette 's house and they would walk to the party because Lee's house was a couple of blocks down. Around the time when Gretchen Uy was going to show up, Nicky came showing Margarette what he was wearing and to ask her advice on his sweatshirt, Margarette gave it to him and he gave her a kiss and left. Then Gretchen Uy turned up and they said goodbye to Margarette 's parents and started walking to the party, "Was that Nicky I saw leaving your house before I came?" asked Gretchen Uy "Yeah.." replied Margarette ".. he wanted advice on what to wear tonight" and they started talking about him and Georgina and Gretchen Uy couldn't wait to see what she looked like. They arrived at the party and the first thing they saw was Nicky and Georgina dancing and then Nicky caught sight of Margarette and Gretchen Uy . He ran over to them "Hi Marge ! Hi Gretchen Uy !" Said Nicky and he gave Margarette a kiss and a hug and he kept his hand around her waist while he introduced them to Georgina. Margarette just gave her half a smile and then she gave Nicky a kiss and said "Save me a dance, yeah?" Nicky laughed "You know it!" and then Margarette and Gretchen Uy went over to where Margarette 's class was hanging out. Finally Margarette and Nicky danced and after the fast song had finished a slow song came on and Nicky put his hands around Margarette 's waist and Margarette put her hands around Nicky's neck and they swayed gently. The song was Best In Me and Margarette mouthed the words and she put her head on Nicky's shoulder and Nicky held her close and Margarette never wanted this night to end. The song ended and Nicky pulled away and gave Margarette a kiss and said "Georgina's dads picking her up, can I walk you and Gretchen Uy home?" Margarette kissed him and said "You know it!" and they laughed and went back to where they were standing.
Gretchen Uy 's mum was picking her up, so Nicky and Margarette walked home together and Nicky put his hand around Margarette 's waist and Margarette put her hand around his neck. Nicky said the date went well but he didn't say anything else about it. It was Nicky's birthday the next day and Margarette had gotten him a great gift, she got him a gold ring with Margarette and Nicky friends forever engraved on it and she got one for herself. All the way home, Nicky was dropping hints that it was his birthday the next day. "Don't worry Nix, I've got you a prezzie!" A broad smile appeared on his face. They got to Margarette 's house and Nicky gave her a kiss and a hug and said "I'll see you tomorrow!" and Margarette nodded and went inside. She went straight to her room and switched on the light, looked out the window and Nicky was looking at her window just to make sure she got in ok and she waved and closed the curtains. She had the best night and she knew they had a song of their own " Best In Me ". That's their song.
Knock knock! Knock knock! Knock knock! Margarette ran downstairs and opened the door and Nicky was standing there with a huge grin on his face and he said "I'm 13! I'm a teenager!" Margarette laughed and said "Go upstairs and look on my bed!" and he practically knocked her over and she laughed and ran upstairs. There was Nicky ripping off the paper and throwing it all round Margarette 's room, saying "What is it? What is it?" and he opened the box and he gasped. He took the rings out the box and Margarette said "Look at the inscription!" and he read it and he said "Lets put them on!" and Nicky put it on Margarette 's wedding finger and Margarette put it on Nicky's wedding finger. "I feel like I'm getting married!" said Nicky, happily and they both laughed. Nicky gave her a big kiss and swung her around and said "Come on, lets go and show them to my mum and dad!" and he grabbed her hand and they raced around to Nicky's house and Nicky's mum and dad were amazed. They knew their friendship would last forever.

3 Years Later...

Nicky was still going out with Georgina and Margarette was still in love with him. Nicky and Margarette were still best friends and they never took off their rings and they were even closer than ever. Two nights after the party, Gretchen Uy started going out with Shane and they had been together ever since. Margarette had met Shane properly and he was really sweet and kind and treated Gretchen Uy like a princess. Nicky had started football and he was really good and Margarette and Georgina would go to his practices and every time he finished, he would always run to Margarette and give her a hug and a kiss. Margarette knew that he would always run to her before Georgina.
One night, Nicky rang Margarette and said "Come over to ours!!" Quickly!!" So, Margarette went straight over and Georgina was there and all Nicky's family and they were beaming. Nicky gave Margarette a kiss and held his hand around his waist and he looked so happy. "Nix, what's going on?" asked Margarette , curiously and Nicky said, "Well, I have been chosen to go over to England and play for Leeds United Football Club!!" and Georgina squealed and gave him a kiss and Margarette was disappointed but didn't show it and put on a fake smile and asked "For how long?" and Nicky swung her around and replied, "Two years!" and Margarette was shocked and asked "When do you leave?" and he looked over to a corner and there were bags packed and Margarette 's fake smile faded and she knew he was leaving the next day and she walked out. " Margarette !" Nicky shouted and chased after her. She was fuming and upset and Nicky grabbed hold of her and spun her around and said, sympathetically " Marge , what's wrong?" and Margarette looked at him and said, "Two years?! Two years!! Nicky, what am I supposed to do without my best friend for two years?! Nicky, you cant go.." She buried her head in his chest and he held her close ".. I'll miss you too much!" and she started sobbing and Nicky hated to see Margarette upset. " Marge , the time will fly by and how am I supposed to concentrate on football when I'm gonna bee missing the most important girl in my life? And hurting at the fact I can't hug her and kiss her every day? I know you wont believe it Marge , but this is gonna hurt me than it is you!" Nicky's voice was cracking and his eyes were welling up and he held her again. Nicky opened his eyes and Georgina was standing there, nearly in tears and Margarette realized by the way Nicky's body tensed up, that something was wrong. Georgina walked back inside and reappeared two seconds later with her jacket in her hands and she started walking away. "G!" Nicky yelled and he ran after her. Nicky caught up with her and they started talking and Margarette started walking towards them and then Georgina just blurted out "Its obvious you're in love with Margarette ! And she's in love with you!" Nicky slowly turned around and he saw Margarette and they stared into each other's eyes and they knew how the other person felt. Georgina walked towards Margarette and took her hand and walked toward Nicky and took Nicky's hand and put them both together. She kissed Nicky and gave Margarette a kiss on the cheek and said "I can't think of any two people more perfect for each other" and she walked away. Nicky and Margarette are still together and they had duplicates of their rings made but had " Margarette and Nicky Forever" engraved on them and they're now planning their wedding and they have their first child on the way.
