There are lots of different ways you can express movement, thoughts, or words. The way I do it is:

~She wonders if DI is new at role playing games and asks,~
Hey, DI, are you new to RPGs?

Or you could have your words in bold or in quotation marks like Ashleigh said. Or you could just have it in normal font, like this is in now.
There are also many ways to express movement and thoughts. Like using ::These:: or **These** or ~These~ or even -These-. There are lots of different techniques, you choose what's right for you.
