Neugeboren
Mein Herz birgt die Traurigkeit
Stillstehend scheint mir die Zeit
Sekunden sind noch wie Stunden
Nie geheilt sind meine Wunden

Nur Tränen auf die Erde fallen
Worte, die sich in die Seele krallen
Worte, die einst mein Glück waren
Nie mehr gehört in all den Jahren

Nur auf Papier stehen sie geschrieben
Letzte Zeilen, die mir von ihr blieben
Versprechen niemals von mir zu gehen
Doch ich hab sie sterben sehen

Eingefroren sind meine Gedanken
Dornen sich um den Körper ranken
Wann hat die Hoffnung mich verlassen?
Wann lernte ich die Welt zu hassen?

Ich glaube es war an jenen Tagen
Als die Worte mir ins Gesicht geschlagen
Worte, die vom Tod erzählten
Fragen, die mich Jahre quälten

Doch die Antworten sind mir nun bekannt
Ein Brief beschreibt ihr dunkles Land
Beschreibt Verzweiflung und blinde Wut
Erzählt von Angst und ihrem Blut

Meine Seele umhüllt von Finsternis
Nicht mal die Liebe ist ihr Hindernis
Denn vor Jahren hab ich sie verloren
Doch bin ich in ihrem Tod neugeboren
