Thanx for ya definition, ashley. But this is the way I see it, before slavery was abolished and probably for a long time after that, an african american was called that weather he was or wasnt ignorant. Seems to me like it was never used to signify that a black person was ignorant but simply to signify that they were lower than a white person. Tha word really doesnt bother me until its put into tha wrong context and used as a dirogatory term. then its jus wrong. HOLLA
