Everytime I try writing a brochure I am designing to a PDF from Publisher 2002, I Receive the following: "There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired."

I am using a Windows XP OS, I have done a disk cleanup, scan disk, disk defragment, uninstalled Publisher, reinstalled it, taken it to my computer repair, recreated the brochure from scratch,....I cannot fix it. Any advice? Is it the PDF or the Publisher?

Please help.
