Subject: cant boot up - strange noise Author: david yorke [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 02:52:39 05/20/03 Tue i'm not sure what i've managed to do but when i turn my computer on a alarmingly loud noise starts after about ten seconds. the noise which is similar to an ambulance noise seems to be coming from either the hard drive or graphics card(?). also the monitor is showing that it isnt connected but ive checked all the cabling.
