Subject: Mathematica

I loved the Mathematica exhibit and was really sorry to see it go. If I'm not mistaken, Time Life Books included pictures of some of its exhibits in its volume "Mathematics" in the early 1960s.

I wasn't a very good math student, but still thought the exhibit was one of the most interesting in the Museum. Later, when I finally did learn some math beyond beginning algebra, I finally realized what a good exhibit it was. My only complaint was that they should have offered some flyers that would provide proofs of basic facts, such as the sphere and cone equalling the superscribed cylinder.
