I mean, here we come back from a grocery store with the most amazing haul -- chicken, pork, half a cow. They must think we're the greatest hunters on earth! The bitch pants heavily, every breath hurting her chest, yet somehow she is happy. She watches Stan move back into the house, returning with a slice of bread. She wags her tail gently, taking the piece of bread in her mouth and dropping it on the porch to eat. She bends her head, and quickly chows down on the human food. After she finishes with the food, she licks her chops, and wags her tail again, just out of sheer pleasure and joy. She stands patiently in front of Angelina, the one who had taken her in at Club Alien, waiting, not really knowing what the woman was planning to do with her.
