I'm not sure that I covered this in any of my earlier post's or not, Chuck, but in order to record from MP3 files, that will be playable in any CD Player, the MP3's must be first converted to Wave format. - Most CD/RW's will do this on the fly, but this is more dependant on the Software rather than the Hardware, and all Software does not support On-The-Fly conversion, which would mean that you would need to use separate conversion software Before recording.
Fortunetly, there are many Freeware or Shareware programs that will accomplish this task.
And unless I am mistaken, the output of a Wave file is Analog, Not Digital. - This would explain why CD's recorded in MP3 format will not play on a regular CD player, but Wave files will.
