t's obvious,really.An elf is merely a quiet shelf.
If in doubt,remember:an Imp to an Elf is like a cupboard to a shelf.You see there is peace and quiet in a cupboard ,but also possible turmoil like the desire to whip your trousers orf in public but concealed within a perverse feeling that if you do it so will everybody else...
Ashelf on the other hand is an obvious candidate for stabililililility and for holding things firm,andthis is where their differences become apparent.an Elf has already learned to stay quiet and therefore does not let you see what is stored upon its' brazen planks if indeed it has planks at all.No the Imp is definitely a different breed-it has green teeeth,for a start,and hates cutting its toenails.It can stay still for long periodsw of time,so as you would not notice its' presence.When disturbed,it will normally complain that it cannot move its' bones.IUf pressed furthyur, it will emit a ahigh pitched "whitter", and run away,waving its' arms and legs furiously,as though his bones were made of plasticene.then it will drink some ale and possibly sing a song.
