Subject: Will the GWA be... DEVASTATED?!?!?!?

(The scene opens up to an empty half deserted, run-down gym where a small group of people are looking in through the broken windows. The camera begins moving through the small crowd of people, and into the abandoned building.)

Camera Man: Oh my God! It's him!

(The camera zooms up to a worn-out wrestling ring where 2 men are together in the ring. The man on the left appears to a trainer. The other is the man, the myth, the legend… ”BIG D DEVASTATION”!!!)

Trainer: That’s it! Now that was good, but this isn’t the same “Big D” that everyone is used to seeing! You used to brutalize your opponents! You would take a man out in the parking lot and give them your “Down Fall” Choke Slam through the front windshield of a car! It didn’t matter if they were a jobber or some guy that had just won the World Title! You still put him in his place!

“Big D” Devastation: But that was then! I haven’t been in a wrestling ring for over a year! And how do I know if this shoulder of mine will really hold up? That bastard used that knife on it when he realized he had no other chance to take me out!

Trainer: Chris Knox will pay for that when his time comes, but now is not the time to worry about your shoulder! The doctor has cleared you and believes that you will not have any ill effects from your surgery. He repaired the muscles and it will be those muscles that will help carry you to greatness!

“Big D” Devastation: Yeah, I guess you are right. So when do you suppose that we will receive a call from the FWF about me being able to join their organization?

Trainer: I don’t know, but you need to be ready for that day when it comes! This is the reason for your training! Now, I’m going to give you a little test. Are you ready?

”Big D” Devastation: Let’s go for it! What do I have to lose? I suppose this will show me where I need to improve, right?

Trainer: Absolutely! Hey Kenny! Come on over here!

(A man of average stature comes out from behind a door wearing a pair of blue jeans shorts and a Chris Knox “Hard Knox Life” T-Shirt. The guy smiles and walks up to the ring. The trainer signals, and the man enters the ring.)

Trainer: Devastation, I want you to meet Kenny. He’s going to be your sparring partner to help you get into shape.

”Big D” Devastation: Yeah, but what is this guy doing with a Chris Knox T-Shirt? You know I absolutely hate the man! Tell him to take it off!

Trainer: Oh no! It’s meant to help you to bring out your inner rage! You’ve been the best before, and you can do it again once you release your rage!

”Big D” Devastation: Whatever you say man!

(The trainer leaves the ring, then signals for the men to lock-up. Devastation looks down at the Chris Knox shirt and begins to get a look of rage on his face. He immediately charges forward and power clotheslines Kenny. He picks him up over 7 feet in the air by his throat before delivering a powerful clothesline. Kenny begins crawling backwards into a corner as “Big D” runs towards him. Devastation catches him and lifts him to his feet. Devastation backs up into a corner and shoves Kenny’s head between his knees. He runs picks Kenny up, runs forward, and delivers a mighty running power bomb known forever to the world as the “Devastator”.)

Trainer: Wow! He’s back…..

(Devastation stands over his motionless opponent for a moment, then reaches down and rips Kenny’s shirt off.)

”Big D” Devastation: Maybe this is what I needed. Chris Knox may have done me a favor when he put me out for a year! It won’t matter who my opponent will be! I’m bound and determined to put him out of his misery! I’m going to keep this shirt, because maybe I’ll meet Chris Knox somewhere down the road. Until then, I’m going to go rampart here in the FWF if I get the call-up. And when it happens, every member of the roster had better prepare to be… DEVASTATED!!!!!
