My favorite picture of all time of John is when he was little, in a boat in the sand, with President Kennedy. President Kennedy is clutching him really tight, and he looks like he's holding the most precious thing in the whole world and knows it. And John's little face is very gleeful. Perfect moment of father/son love and bonding.

The next favorite one I have is of little John with his mom on the beach. She's squatting sort of amused, sort of looking down, and John is pointing at the camera with a huge grin and you can see his missing tooth.

My favorite thing that I ever read about John was when he was little, he was being disruptive in a meeting and wouldn't leave. Finally the President decided to ignore him. The President looked at all his advisors and began the meeting by asking the usual "well, what have we got today?" John answered first: "I've got a glass of water."

Another really cute photo is of John biting Maria Shriver's finger at some press conference. It's hilarious to see the procession of pictures.

And then, another great photo is of him holding Caroline's little daughter Rose on his shoulders as he talks to his sister in front of a car in Hyannis Port. The love just shows itself all over.

More and more I am starting to believe that death doesn't end life. It just takes it to a different dimension. John is well, wherever he is. But we will miss seeing him here as long as we're still here!
