I was born in the forest and have been a rover all my life. I protect those weaker than myself and I learned how to use the bow and sling from my father but, I taught myself how to use the rapier when I saw a dead shrew with his rapier beside him. I think he was Log-a-log before his death because of the quality of his rapier. My family was traveling south and a touch east when we came upon some marlfoxes and water rats. I guess that there was at least one score of them there. They started to fight us and my father told my mother and I to run while he held them off with his sword. I couldn't just stand there and watch my father die. I started to run about 15 paces away then turned around and shot the ones closest to my father first. Together we took out the water rats but the marlfoxes crept up on my father using there camoflauging technique. They murdered him easily. From then on I swore my life to protecting those weaker and less fortunate than myself. I went and found my mother and we lived together until she died of dry ditch fever. Then I continued roving and found Redwall Abbey and although I do not stay there I visit there and live in the Mossflower Woods. I fight with them and bring them news of events outside the Abbey.
