I was born next to the sea in a cove. My mother and father's names were Dew Moonbeam and Windstrike Spiker Moonbeam. My full name is Dewflower Spiker Moonbeam. I'm a mouse, a warrior mouse who has no fear. They were both warriors, coming from the north. They gave me a velvet silk cloak which was handed down from our father's. I slept with the cloak every night as a sign of protection. One day, we were sitting in our cove. I was only a dibbun back then. My parents had a rabbit friend that lived close by. He cared for me when my parents were out minding their own buisness. Anyways, one day, a vermin horde came by on a ship from a island. The plundered my family's cove and quickly escaped from my father's and mother's bloodrath. They both died that day. I hardly remember them at all. When I grew up, Bilge, the rabbit, still cared for me. He told me all about my parents and how they were one of a few who suffers the bloodwrath. He would always retell the story of that fatefull day. Then, he told me of a place called Mossflower and Redwall. I packed up and traveled there myself. But before I did, I walked up to Bilge and vowed that one day, I will slay the evil horde that killed my parents. I also vowed that I will bring Bilge back to Redwall, with a company of hares. He always wanted to see a hare. I gave him the special velvet cloak and draped it around his shoulders. When I arrived to Redwall, I was surprised to see so many sights! I also saw hares and told them of my journey to Redwall. They told me that they arrived from a great mountain called Salamandastron to warn Redwall about the vermin they seen. They promised to visit Bilge and help me depheat the vermin troops. We traveled day and night to visit Bilge.
We found him with the velvet cloak draped around his shoulders. He looked as if he was sleeping peacefully, never to be woken again. Vermin troops had just rummaged into the cove. I fell asleep crying for the poor rabbit who I knew and loved. We buried him on a hill facing the sea. He always watched the sunset rise and fall everyday. I knew he loved that special spot. He was buried with the velvet cloak, and a special ruby-diamond stone, a gift from the hares, that was sewn on to the cloak.
To this day, me and the Long Patrol search for the vermin who killed many harmless creatures. I had inherited the sword of Martin the Warrior, but I denied to use it. After hearing the story of Mariel and her Gullwhacker, I use my own hand made gullwhacker. I named it Sunmean. I hope bad luck will fall upon the villians. I support the Dibbuns United Club now, otherwise known as DAB, (a.k.a Dibbuns Against Bedtime.) I also hated to be put to bed by Bilge early when I went scavaging on my crazy adventures when I was a dibbun. In otherwords......
REDWALLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DABBBBBBBB!!!!!!!!!
