I was born at Salamandastron and I was the only hare born that season. I am completly white except for the tips of my ears which are black. And I wear a green dress. When I was younger I was really headstrong it drove my parents mad. I was always getting into fights with them. When I was about 5 seasons old I got into a
really bad fight with my parents. It was then I told them I was going to run away my parents didn't belive me. But that night I stole my mums sword and then snuck out. About three days after some vermon caught me. They made me their slave after a few seasons I made friends with a young squirrel her name was Oakleaf. One night Oakleaf manged to free herself she quickly untied me and we escaped. But not long afterwards they noticed we were gone the vermon
begain looking for us they found us not far from camp. Run Oakleaf screamed and pushed me ahead. The vermon begain shooting at us with their bows and arrows. One of them hit my squirrel friend NO I screamed and ran back to her she said go...........Redwall......... and then she died. I looked back and saw the vermon had almost reached me I took off running like only a hare could. I reached the Abbey two days later and collapsed for I ran the whole time. I woke
up later in the infirmary. That was 5 seasons ago I am now 13 seasons old. A lot has happened
in that time I have a lot of friend now but I'll never forget Oakleaf. Who knows mabe when I grow up I'll search for the vermon who killed her and wipe them all out till then I quite happy to stay here.
