Duskpelt was born in a deciduous northland forest called Snowbark. She loved traveling and often would go travel with her grandma Wolfwing. Duskpelt had many adventures with her Grandma. Her parents didn't mind that she traveled a lot, just so long as she came and visited sometimes.
One day they traveled to Mossflower, where Wolfwing became sick. So Duskpelt helped her Grandma to the nearby Redwall Abbey. Eventualy Wolfwing got better, but Duskpelt had begun to love Redwall Abbey and decided to live there. While she still goes to visit her parents and sometimes goes on adventures with her Grandma, Her home is at Redwall Abbey.
