Skydance’s Improved Bio
I was born in Noonvale, a little over twelve seasons ago. When I was a mere babe of three seasons, my mother and father, (Melinda and Thrush Winterblossom) decided to take a holiday to Redwall Abbey, the legendary home of woodland creatures in Mossflower. I do not remember much of my journey, being so very small at the time. I know that we made the mistake of traveling in winter, so the winds were harsh, and there was a noticeable lack of food. From what I can gather from my parents, I was a very fussy squirrel babe, always whining for more food. It was when we were near Saint Ninians, that we came across a derelict old campsite, but it couldn’t of been that old, as there was food still fresh here and there, and the odd arrowhead not rusted. There had clearly been some type of battle here. My earliest memory is when my mother and father were lighting a fire that evening, and I decided to venture into the one remaining tent. I could not talk at this age, but waddling in, I spotted a tiny fox cub, around the same size as me, but obviously a few seasons younger. I extracted my thumb from my mouth long enough to say, “glickuck”. I toddled off and grabbed my fathers traveling cloak, and hauled him over to the tent, showing them the babe. They took pity on her, wrapped her up in a shawl and fed her like their own. We took her to Redwall Abbey with us, and she was therefore cared for, though it was entrusted to my mother and father to be her guardians. They named her Streamrose, because of the curious petal shaped birthmark on her neck. Streamrose has no recollection of her rescuing, or of whom her real parents were. She is with us now, we are her family. Streamrose is three seasons younger than me. On my arrival at the abbey, a female hedgehog, who introduced herself as Tangle, leader of DAB, studied me closely. (Dibbuns Against Bedtime). She asked me if I would care to join, and wouldn’t I just! I am a mischievous dibbun, (that is what they called babes at the abbey) and registered as a newbie. When mum and dad saw what a great time I was having, and once dad had become inseparable from the current cellar hog, they decided upon spending our lives at the abbey, rather than returning to Noonvale. I moved up from a newbie to being a scallywag of the Pesky Pack. I made my first friend on the tapestry, Kyash-Tyur. By this time, Streamrose was old enough to join, and to my delight, she too was put in Pesky Pack. In time, I was made dorm leader of my dorm, to my utmost astonishment and delight. My fellow Pesky Packers included: Alagador Swiftback IV, my co dorm leader, Streamrose, Mattimego the mouse, Deyna Ashflight the otter, the great General Lauren Flame Eyes, Tangle’s right paw, Kricket Thornwhistle, and Drake Terref. We first fought the Bad Babes, lead by Emmi, in which we suffered a narrow failure. Next was our fight against Dastardly Dibbuns, also a loss. We are currently fighting Fearsome Fiends and Active Array, aided by our buddy dorm Naughty Knot. There was also the founding of the Dorm Program, a group set up to assist less active dorms, which was first thought up by me, and taken further by my badger friend Trillium Moonstripe. Mara Streampaw, another of my pals, is now in charge of this, and it has become a great success. I love my life at DAB, and all my friends here!
