I was born in Spring Valley long before even Whisper Wood was made. I grew up as a very adventurous squirrelmaid with my best friend Mayola Cray Gundler, (May for short), who was an otter.
I seemed to have gotten on the bad side of almost all the other youngsters. I whacked everyone except for my friends on the heads with sticks when I was fighting imaginary battles.
When I was about six years old, my mother ran away from Spring Valley, leaving me only a sword to remember her by. (I never knew what happened to my father.)
When I was seven, I defeated a full-grown ferret who was attacking the village, but I recived no thanks.
Once I was older, I got named as the Spring Valley warrior, but I ran away like my mother because everyone was being mean to me. May and a few others joined me.
I then met a ratmaid whos name aI am forrbiden to tell you. She told me she was from the Mlokzboq tribe. The Mlokzboq tribe never tells anyone outside of their tribe their names except for the Chosen One. I was this mousemad's Chosen One.
My friends and I met up with helpful creatures who helped us help the ratmaid keep her tribe forever hidden from the sea vermin who were going after it to try and capture them because the Mlokzboq tribe knows magic.
When we got back to Spring Valley, it had been taken over by land vermin. We fought them off and I was made Queen. Being Queen, I moved our village closer to the river that ran outside our village borders.
Late one night, May was with me as I stared out over the water to think of a name for our new village.
The mousemaid helped me there. She sent a magical message floating through the treetops, but I am once again forbidden to decode it. But that whispered message was all I needed.
I named the village Whisper Wood, and I am sure it will stand forever, gaurded always by strong warriors.
And thanks to Sadie, a most kind mousemaid, who wrote a book about my adventure, for she ventured with me.
And now I must go, because we're having a bondfire tonight, and May just went by with a bag of marshmellows. Yum!
