My mum was a captive otter but fell in love with a fox captain of the army. They had me in secret, and kep' me hidden, an' called me Madta. Later, someone managed to find out an' tell the captain of the army. We were on a boat at the time so they waited til they saw a shark an' threw my mum overboard, and she was dead. They pulled in to land, and hung my father. they were gonna kill me to, and tried to throw me in a fire slowly, and they only got my head in before my father's friend grabbed me an' ran. he left me on a stream bank, an ran a different direction to lead searchers off. i wuz about 2 seasons, an could talk. skipper found me, an' i told him what happened, and we went off to find dad's friend. we found him - full of spears. they took me to Redwall, and treated my burns, but they had burnt my skin so raw it appeared silver around my eyes. thus, the name Silvereye, and that's my shortened bio. i might post my long one up later.
