I grew up near Salamandastron with a small band of sea otters. My father was the leader of the tribe. It was all so long ago I can not remmber much but I can remmber that we were always hungry and always moving. Then one day , dad found a vermin camp while he was looking for food he tried to slip back to the camp without getting caught but they found him and surrounded him. He fought them and killed two of them before they .........before they killed him. The next day they found our hide away and they attacked us, we all most won but there was too many of them. They killed everyone of us but me and my mother. We wandered adout for two seasons and then one morning mother just wouldn`t wake up. I tried and tried to wake her but she won`t get up. Luckly the next day I was found by one of my best friends ,a hare named Sliverpaw Moonbow. We spent many seasons togeather and had many adventures. One day we came to Redwall and stayed there for many days. Sliver saw how much fun I had with friends my own age and asked me to stay here and live with the kind Redwallers. I happliy agreed but then asked if he was staying to smiling he said,"Come now do you think I am going to live here all of my days sitting and drinking tea? I thought you know me better then that!" Then sighing he shook his head and said,"I have to go, young one ,you know me better then most you can understand." I nodded and then asked ,"Will you visted me?"
"Of course I will!"
"Promise?"
"Promise."
He left the next day and I stood on the battlements looking down the road long after he had left thinking of all the loved ones that had left me and then, slowly, I turned to the first place I could call my home and knew that this place was the one that I could stand by and it would never leave me and I would not leave it,Redwall.
