Souquinciard, a region to the far-east of the Wildlands, is quite mysterious and isolated. None-the-less, some travellers tell tale of a small kingdom there, once ruled by the family of Pants. Rumour has it that the Pants once were some of the mightiest rulers of the east, and had lands far surpassing that of the Souquinciard region... Not much is known of the kingdom now however, for some say that it fell into decay after the murder of fabled King Leaftwitter by his brother Menson, but yet others tell that a horde of evil vermin decided to take residence in the family's very lands... ousting the royal family in a long and bitter war. Tales though they might be, only one creature knows of the kingdom's true fate, and he is reluctant to speak of it. Ballow, the Hare, the last of a long line of royalty, is such a creature, and though he oft never speak of his history, he can sometimes be fooled into revealing his heritage with a few strategically placed glasses of Elderberry Wine. As might be guessed though, Ballow De Souquinciard El Pantsae VII is of close relation to the Pants, and though humble Hare that he might be, Master Ballow has an almost direct link to the ancient throne... and a wicked tale of deciet, injustice, and tarnished honour.

(much literary liberty there... is that alright?)
