fweegle the otterbabe sat on the soft sand in mossflower, watching the strong river current drag endlessly towards the sea. this was where he was born, by the side of the shining rapids. he tossed a pebble out into the water with the flick of his tail. he had been born and raised for a season in these same woods, and then moved to Redwall Abbey.But it was not all good before then.
it was a cold night when a grey shadow-like marlfox snuck into his home. he yelped and his parents came. there was a viscious battle before the dead body of the Marlfox was tossed into the river. fweegle's parents received some severe injuries and they moved their residence to Redwall. fweegle's palm on his left hand had been cut by the marlfox, and he was scarred for life.
at redwall he hd met new dibbuns like himself and his father joined skipper's otter crew for his valliant efforts against the marlfox. there fweegle grew up ever since.
