I was strangly born to a squirrel father and a vixen mother. My mother, Daynak, taught me to be stealthy (wich would come in handy at Redwall Abbey, but I didn't know it) and how to use an ax. My father, Elmblade, taught me how to fight and use a dirk and a bow and arrows. One morning, I woke up to find my father had been slain by vermin and my mother taken prisoner. I was wanted to track down the vermin who killed my father and kill them. But I was 1.5 seasons old and could do nothing. So I picked up my bow and arrows, got food from the cubord ( I was a very good climber, as I am now, thanks to my dad), and started draging my father's dirk (which had lain gripped tightly in his paw) and the ax left behind by my mother. I walked onward and onward 'till I reached Redwall Abbey. On my journey, a ottermaid , named Riversun, accompanied me. She was heading to the Abbey, too. So when an otter named Finnbarr greeted us, it was more comfortable to do it together.
