Summer of the Golden Plain
I had been in the strawberry patch, trying to find the juiciest strawbees, when I heard Mother Mellus yelling from the Infirmary window,"Just wait 'till I get my paws on you you grubby little Dibbun! It will be double bath and bed with no supper!!!" Hearing this I ran off to the Abbey pond and, grabbing a hollow reed from the edge, leapt into the water. I stayed there until Mother Mellus gave up searching for me and I heard the Matthias and Methusela bells ringing out to annouce dinner-time. I quckly rubbed myself dry and charged into dinner with the other Dibbuns. And that was how I escaped double bath and bed with no dinner.
