Sherman I live in California and have since I was born. What part of California were you in? I live in Southern California about 1 hour and 15 minutes south of Los Angeles Airport. It's about 20 minutes south of John Wayne Airport. The city is Irvine. California is huge though so maybe you were in mid or the nothern part.
