I've played a few Theif demos. I can't vouch for the content of the full games, but the demos seemed to not too riske. If your kid is allowed to play Myff, then I don't see any problem letting him play Theif. You actually are pushed to be non-violent - if possible - in that game.

Btw - Grignard has played that game for ages and loved it. I'll try to hunt him down sometime...silly busy ppl.
