Subject: Something that can slow me down

I got a migraine this morning...of all weekends.
gawd it hurts....and I can't get any drugs to help me.

Brief history of my migraines:
First one at age 14..kept it quiet, cause I thought I was going blind ans was scared. I get optic migraines...I lose my vision. My vision goes out for about 45min.-3 hours.

A nurse at my school figured out my problem, I went to a doctor.

He said there isn't anything I can do...nobody knows what causes migraines.

Got tired of ppl calling themselves doctors and giving up on me.

Went to several neurologists..tried alot of differant drugs...none helped my vision.

Tried cutting all kinds of foods...kept journals for years.

Tried messsage therapy.

A doctor finally gave me pain pills to help with pain..vikadin..I know that is speeled wrong..but i'm not going to look in my PDR. That helped alot. 3-5 got me through the week. I was about age 25.

New neurologist wanted me on daily meds for them. I refused. I will not be strapped to a drug. I don't like putting even a simple tylenol into my system.

Now if I ask for vikadin...doctors won't give them to me. I even say..just give me 5..and when I am out (3-9 months later) give me another 5. They don't buy it. They think a young fit guy has no need for a powerful pain pill. I am not a pill popping kinda guy. Just want some help with the nasty pain.
